what this life is all about

In the course of the last few weeks it is really easy to be discouraged and distracted by all that is going on all around the world, but wait "God is in control!" It is in the Word that we read that "All authority on heaven and earth is established by God." What a comforting thought, that God is in control and no matter what happens in the natural we know that there is something more to this life that the here and now... Am i concerned and praying fervently about the present state of the world "you betcha!" (that is supposed to be funny) But all in all God is in control --- Angie and I are, well, at a place in our lives where there is so much changing that we are just trusting God with all we have, because we truly have nowhere else to go but to the Lord. As we embark on this next few months we covet prayer! With the due date of our lasted edition to the family just around the corner we are gearing up for all the change that that will bring --- I also am about to take the plunge and start a side business selling coffee to whomever will buy it, and this to me is a bit invigorating, a leap of faith, but I am feeling it is a step in the right direction for us as a family.

Just wanted to get that off my mind... maybe blogging through this time will be helpful to our sanity. does anybody still check this thing?
